Details

La Ville de Macamic envisage d’exploiter l’eau souterraine sur son territoire afin d’alimenter sa population en eau potable. Dans ce contexte, une recherche en eau doit être réalisée afin de trouver un secteur ayant un bon potentiel aquifère permettant de capter la quantité d’eau nécessaire aux besoins actuels et qui serait d’une bonne qualité chimique. L’objectif principal du présent mandat est donc de construire cinq (5) puits d’observation et un (1) puits d’essai dans différents secteurs du territoire, ciblés conjointement avec la Ville. De plus, un (1) essai de pompage de courte durée et un (1) échantillonnage de l’eau souterraine devront être réalisés sur le puits d’essai qui aura le meilleur potentiel, afin de confirmer le potentiel quantitatif et qualitatif de l’aquifère comme source d’approvisionnement en eau potable. Selon les informations disponibles à ce jour, la stratigraphie générale des sols du secteur à l’étude serait constituée de silt et d’argile puis de till présent au-dessus du socle rocheux. À des fins de soumission, des forages de 20 à 150 m de profondeur au droit du roc sont prévus. Les travaux consistent en la fourniture de la main-d’oeuvre compétente, des matériaux, des équipements, de l’outillage et de tous les accessoires nécessaires à l’aménagement des ouvrages et aux travaux de terrain.
