The Leaders of Scale programme is a fully funded six-month training and coaching opportunity for mission-driven organisations with proven solutions for preventing childhood sexual violence. Eligible NGOs, civil society organisations, and social enterprises in Europe, Africa, North America, and Latin America can nominate two senior leaders to receive training, expert coaching, peer learning, and a funded residential experience focused on scaling their impact.

About the Leaders of Scale Programme

Leaders of Scale is a dedicated pathway within Spring Impact’s international Scale Accelerator, designed for organisations working to prevent childhood sexual violence. The programme supports organisations that already have a proven solution and want to expand its reach and impact. Scaling prevention work can be particularly challenging because organisations may face cultural taboos, fragmented services, political barriers, limited resources, and differences between communities and countries. Leaders of Scale helps participating organisations develop practical strategies for overcoming these challenges and achieving sustainable growth. What Does the Programme Offer? The programme provides a six-month, fully funded training and coaching journey. Participants receive structured support from scale experts and opportunities to learn from organisations facing similar challenges.

The programme includes:

Each selected organisation can nominate two senior leaders to participate. What Will Participants Learn? The programme is designed to help leaders move from having an effective solution to developing a realistic strategy for expanding that solution. The curriculum focuses on several core areas. Developing a Scale Strategy Participants examine their organisation’s existing solution and determine where, why, and how it could be expanded. The strategy considers the organisation’s goals, available resources, target communities, partnerships, and potential barriers to growth. Designing a Scale Model

Participants develop a practical model for delivering their solution at greater scale

This involves understanding what elements of the intervention must remain consistent and where adaptation may be required for different cultural, geographical, or organisational contexts. Creating an Action Plan The programme helps organisations translate their scale strategy into practical steps. Participants can identify priorities, resources, partnerships, timelines, and responsibilities needed to move toward implementation. Preparing for Funders and Partners Participants also receive support in communicating their scaling strategy to potential funders and partners. This includes developing stronger pitches that explain the problem, proven solution, scaling opportunity, expected impact, and resources required. Applicants must:

- Have at least two years of experience or track record in preventing childhood sexual violence. - Operate in Europe, Africa, North America, or Latin America. - Have a proven solution or approach that has demonstrated potential for impact. - Have strong potential to scale the solution. - Be able to nominate two senior leaders. - Ensure both leaders can commit to the six-month online programme. - Be prepared to participate actively in training, coaching, and peer learning. What Does “Proven Solution” Mean? The programme is intended for organisations that have already developed and tested an approach to preventing childhood sexual violence. Applicants should therefore be able to demonstrate that their solution is more than an early-stage idea.
