This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued under the project titled “Management of Plastic Waste and Circular Interventions in South, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific”, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government, with financial support from The Coca-Cola Foundation (TCCF). The primary objective of the project is to establish a systemic and inclusive approach to plastic waste management at the Local Authority (LA) level by strengthening collection, segregation, recovery, and recycling systems within seven selected Local Authorities (LAs) in the Colombo District that channel municipal waste to the Karadiyana Waste Management Centre (KWMC), including Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Municipal Council, Dehiwala–Mount Lavinia Municipal Council, Moratuwa Municipal Council, Kesbewa Urban Council, Boralesgamuwa Urban Council, Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha, and Maharagama Urban Council. As an essential component of this initiative, the procurement process will focus on the Procurement of Recyclable Plastic Collection and Processing Equipment. Qualified bidders are invited to submit their bids for the applicable LOT of the RFQ, " RFQ/TCCF/2608/49 - Recyclable Plastic Collection and Processing Equipment" This procurement consists of 04 LOTs. LOT 01 - Crusher Machine LOT 02 - Baler Machine LOT 03 - Scales LOT 04 - Bulk Packaging Bags (FIBC/Jumbo Bags)
