SaskWater is seeking a qualified Consultant to undertake a hydrogeological investigation to assess the Eastend-Wood Mountain aquifer (the Aquifer)’s capacity as a raw water supply for the Town of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan (the Town).

The goal of the Aquifer’s Capacity Assessment is to confirm its capacity (including groundwater quality) to accommodate the Town’s current and projected annual withdrawals, its sustainable/safe yield, and the number and location of the production wells that would be required to support the Town’s current and projected water demand The Consultant is expected to provide a drilling contractor (as part of the scope of work) to carry out all field activities (under the direct supervision of the Consultant) include drilling execution and oversight, geophysical investigations, pumping tests and groundwater sampling. The Consultant shall comply with applicable Saskatchewan regulations, professional standards, safety requirements, environmental protection measures and utility owner procedures. SaskWater is Saskatchewan’s commercial Crown water utility, helping communities, First Nations and industry gain access to trusted and sustainable water solutions for a vibrant Saskatchewan.
