Request for Proposal: Trekking and Expedition Support Services for the Multi-Hazard Risk Assessment (MHRA) and Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (MHEWS) Learning Exchange Field Visit – Haa River Basin, Bhutan

The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) is seeking a qualified and experienced service provider to provide trekking and expedition support for a multi-hazard risk assessment (MHRA) and multi-hazard early warning system (MHEWS) learning exchange field visit in the Haa River Basin, Bhutan.

The assignment will cover the high-altitude field segment from 3 to 13 August 2026 and will include transport, trekking personnel, camping, catering, safety equipment, emergency preparedness, and environmental and waste management.

The proposal should include, but not be limited to, the following:

Company profile and legal documentation, including valid registration, tax-clearance certificates, operating licences, and relevant permits

Technical proposal covering the operational approach, staffing, logistics, risk and safety management, emergency evacuation, communications, equipment, and environmental management

Itemised financial proposal, including mandatory per-person rates and separately priced optional services

Evidence of relevant high-altitude expedition experience, profiles of comparable assignments, and at least two verifiable client references
