84130000 - Insurance and retirement services DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS The United Nations invites qualified insurance brokerage firms to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the provision of Insurance Broker Services for the UNs Global Marine Cargo Insurance Program. The initial contract term will be three (3) years, with the possibility of two (2) optional extensions of two (2) years each, for a maximum duration of seven (7) years. A detailed Scope of Work will be provided under the Request for Proposal (RFP) document to the vendors that meet the pre-qualification requirements stated below. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS / INFORMATION (IF ANY) Interested firms must meet the following prequalification criteria in order to be considered for participation in

the RFP:

1. Vendor must have at least five (5) years of relevant experience, e.g. technical expertise with Cargo/Marine Cargo insurance policy lines. The experience must be documented and pertain to activities and services directly related to the insurance requirement outlined. 2. Vendor must have at least three organizational clients with over US$100 million of annual international cargo movement and freight operations involving the movement of various Cargo across multiple countries and regions. 3. Vendor must have a minimum of ten (10) offices on at least four (4) continents with worldwide cargo insurance experience. EOIs must be accompanied by all required supporting documentation. Submissions that do not fully meet the prequalification requirements will not be considered and will not be invited to participate in the RFP process.
