Projekterne skal bidrage med videnskabeligt funderet empirisk viden om, hvordan aktiviteter i relation til havvind påvirker havmiljøet, herunder bidrage til en afklaring afom aktivitetens påvirkning(er) kan anses som væsentlige, enten i sig selv eller i kombination med andre presfaktorer;om aktivitetens påvirkninger er entydigt negative eller om den også kan have positive effekter;om aktivitetens påvirkning primært sker lokalt eller om den har en bredere geografisk påvirkning;om eventuelle afværgetiltag for aktivitetens påvirkning på havnaturen har effekt.Projekterne kan udover at indsamle viden også teste afværgetiltag for aktivitetens påvirkning på havnaturen. Med aktiviteter forstås aktiviteter i relation til opførsel, drift og nedtagning af anlæg til havvind.Med afsæt i rapporten ”Offshore Wind and Nature Coexistence” fra DTU Aqua prioriteres projekter, der har fokus på påvirkningerne (se figur 2) fra anlæg, drift og vedligehold af havvindmølleparker, herunder anlæg og drift af tilhørende elkabler, samt dekommissionering af havvindmølleparker.Projektet forventes at være afsluttet senest 30. november 2030.Der er afsat en økonomisk ramme på i alt op til 15,0 mio. kr.Der kan tildeles kontrakter til op til tre projekter.Hvert projekt kan maksimalt få tildelt en kontrakt på 7,5 mio. kr. eks. moms.
