Queensland Health System Procurement is holding an industry consultation session about this Medical Consumables sourcing activity.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

The session will provide an overview of the activity, the HHS-supported sourcing principles and Queensland Health’s proposed approach to engaging with the market. It will cover opportunities to improve value through consolidation and standardisation where clinically appropriate, while recognising justified differences in procedure and service requirements. Supply resilience and transition considerations will also be covered.

The aim is to improve the engagement process and support sustainable outcomes for Queensland Health. Supplier perspectives and proposals for additional value are welcome. The discussion is intended to build confidence in the sourcing approach and support high-quality ITO responses that can contribute to improved contractual arrangements, with sustainability as a core focus.
