Predmetna storitev obsega pisno prevajanje in lektoriranje, zlasti: a) aktualnih novic na spletni strani Univerze v Ljubljani (povprečna ocena je 240 novic letno v obsegu približno 1500 znakov s presledki na novico); b) besedil spletne strani in podstrani Univerze v Ljubljani; c) poslovnega poročila Univerze v Ljubljani (predviden obseg je 160 strani); d) vseh ostalih publikacij Univerze v Ljubljani, ki jih bo izdala v tekočem letu (brošure, zgibanke ipd.); e) vabil, govorov, dopisov in krajših dokumentov (pogodbe, poročila ipd.). Večina prevodov in lektur se nanaša na jezikovno kombinacijo slovenščina-angleščina, angleščina-slovenščina, občasno bo naročnik potreboval tudi prevode iz in v druge tuje jezike, kot so: hrvaščina, srbščina, bosanščina, makedonščina, nemščina, italijanščina, španščina, francoščina. Sodna overitev prevoda v tem javnem naročilu pomeni prevod besedila, ki ga overi zapriseženi sodni tolmač, imenovan z odločbo Ministrstva za pravosodje, ki z žigom in pod kazensko odgovornostjo jamči za verodostojnost prevoda.
