Bygg og eiendomsavdelingen har vedtatt midler for prosjektering og etablering av carporter på tre ulike plasser i kommunen; Orklandbadet, Orkland rådhus og Meldal kommunehus.
Prosjektet skal gjennomføres som et samspillsprosjekt, der man i Fase 1 (samhandlingsfasen) skal enes om løsning, funksjoner samt en fastpris for gjennomføringsfasen (Fase 2).
