Orkland kommune skal anskaffe vintervedlikeholdstjenester for sikre god og forutsigbar fremkommelighet og trafikksikkerhet for alle trafikantgrupper som ferdes langs formålsbyggene. Med det menes kjørevei, g/s-vei, fortau,, parkeringsfelt, parkeringsplasser, adkomst til kommunale formålsbygg og lignende.

Private areal og private veger/innkjøringer inngår ikke i kommunens brøyteordning.

Vinterdrift omfatter brøyting, strøing, etterrydding. Bortkjøring av snø utføres etter bestilling. Spesielle fokusområder på vinteren er trygg skoleveg, myke trafikanter, og trafikksikkerhet.

Anskaffelsens verdi anslås til: NOK 5.000.000,- eks. Volumet er et estimat og er ikke bindende for oppdragsgiver.
