Closed ATM View - OET-DRC-2026 Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart The Operational Energy Transitions Defence Research Centre (OET DRC) will conduct research that will contribute to the realisation of the Defence Future Energy Strategy. DRCs provide a method to build scale and focus in the Defence IS&T ecosystem to tackle strategically important enduring themes aligned with National Defence priorities. DRCs bring Defence, universities and broader industry together in a secure research environment to expand the capacity and efficiency of our national R&D development base with appropriate safeguards in place for sensitive data, systems and intellectual property. The establishment of the Operational Energy Transitions DRC will involve the selection of a lead partner and the selection and the commencement of research projects aligned to Defence’s Operational Energy Transition challenges. Further information on this upcoming RFP will be made available in the near future.
