De opdracht betreft een raamovereenkomst voor het ontwerpen, samenstellen, leveren, bezorgen en plaatsen van transformator- en verdeelstations ten behoeve van de instandhouding, vervanging en uitbreiding van de energie-infrastructuur van het ministerie van Defensie in de regio Den Helder. Het Energie Distributie Bedrijf (EDB) treedt hierbij op als beheerder van het energienet voor Defensie en het Rijksvastgoedbedrijf in deze regio. Binnen de raamovereenkomst kunnen gedurende de looptijd verschillende standaard stationstypen worden afgeroepen voor vervangings-, uitbreidings- en nieuwbouwprojecten. Waar noodzakelijk kunnen deze stations projectspecifiek worden aangepast conform het Programma van Eisen.
