National Consultancy: Provision of Conflict Sensitivity and Social Cohesion Trainings within the REMARKET project

The REMARKET project, implemented by Caritas Switzerland with Caritas Ukraine (CUA), Caritas-Spes Ukraine (CSU) and SPARK, seeks a qualified Ukrainian consultant or consultancy firm to design and deliver practical conflict-sensitivity and social-cohesion training for at least 50 REMARKET-supported MSME representatives and relevant partner staff. The assignment aims to strengthen conflict-sensitive, inclusive and fair business and programme practices in the Ukrainian context and includes one in-person consultation with Caritas Switzerland in Kyiv or Lviv. Please note this is a short version of the Terms of Reference (ToR). The full ToR, including detailed evaluation questions, methodology, and application requirements, is available at the link here: Terms of Reference

Tasks:

- Participate in an online kick-off meeting with Caritas Switzerland and partners to confirm target groups, delivery arrangements, participant data and the training schedule. - Review relevant REMARKET documents, conduct a short needs-scoping discussion with project staff, and hold one in-person consultation with Caritas Switzerland in Kyiv or Lviv. - Develop a practical, participatory training package in Ukrainian based on ‘do no harm’ and conflict-sensitivity principles, tailored to partner staff and MSME owners/managers/senior representatives. - Propose and implement an efficient delivery model reaching at least 50 partner staff and MSME representatives, taking account of accessibility, security and the CHF 5,000 budget ceiling. - Deliver the approved training in manageable cohorts, normally including at least four online sessions via Zoom or MS Teams. - Administer brief pre- and post-training knowledge checks and a participant feedback form using proportionate, data-minimising methods. - Support participating MSMEs to prepare a short conflict-sensitive business action plan or commitment statement and partner staff to identify practical integration actions. - Deliver one consolidated online follow-up Q&A session after the training cycle to reinforce learning and address implementation questions. - Prepare a concise final report with delivery results, learning evidence, participant feedback, challenges, recommendations and required annexes.

Rquirements:

- Ukrainian national and Ukraine-based consultant, or legally registered Ukrainian consultancy firm/organisation able to provide the required services. - At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in conflict sensitivity and social cohesion in conflict-affected settings. - Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating practical learning programs, preferably for MSMEs or corporate industry. - Strong understanding of the Ukrainian context, including displacement dynamics and the socio-economic context. - Proven ability to translate complex concepts into practical business guidance. - Fluency in Ukrainian and English. - Experience delivering effective online and hybrid training and using participatory digital tools. - Awareness of gender, disability inclusion, safeguarding, confidentiality and responsible data management. - Availability for an in-person consultation with Caritas Switzerland in Kyiv or Lviv, as agreed.
