The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.

Below is a summary of the work to be performed:

The training aims to increase awareness of the ILO Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (FPRW), enhance understanding of the rights and responsibilities of employers, managers and workers, and promote safe, healthy, respectful and inclusive workplaces in the ship recycling industry. It will also strengthen participants’ understanding of relevant provincial labour laws, national policies and international labour standards and instruments, including the Hong Kong Convention (HKC), to support their practical implementation and compliance. The planned workshop will bring together a diverse group of participants, including workers and managers from ship recycling facilities, contractors, owners of ship recycling facilities, representatives of the Pakistan Ship Breakers Association (PSBA), and relevant government officials.
