Dagens lokaler på Nabeita oppvekstsenter er for lite og tilfredsstiller ikke moderne krav til pedagogiske læringsarenaer og arbeidsmiljø. Nye Nabeita skole og barnehage blir funksjonelt og framtidsrettet og sikrer et godt fysisk lærings- og arbeidsmiljø med effektive bygg og gode uteoppholdsarealer.Prosjektet består av to faser, der fase en er utvidelse av eksisterende skole og fase to er utvidelse av barnehagen. Fase en inneholder riving og tilbygg til eksisterende skole og skal være ferdig sommer 2028. Fase to omhandler ny barnehage og skal ferdigstilles sommer 2029.Totalt omfatter prosjektet 4165 m2 nybygg og 2375m2 ombygging og gjennomføres som totalentreprise i henhold til Norsk Standard 8407.Prosjektering og utførelse skal ivaretas av totalentreprenøren.
