The Ministry is looking for a single supplier (or a consortium with a lead supplier) for the music kits. The successful supplier must have strong supply networks and be able to deliver quality music kits to schools and kura around New Zealand. They must also be able to provide comprehensive support in case things go wrong with the kits or their distribution. The Ministry will receive and consolidate school orders during a limited ordering window via Salesforce (hosted by the Ministry) and provide consolidated order information to the successful supplier. The successful supplier will maintain ongoing communication with the Ministry and schools and kura throughout the ordering and fulfillment period, providing proactive and timely updates on the status of orders, shipping arrangements, and delivery. Additionally, the successful supplier will need to outline their warranty/repair processes. The Ministry is seeking a single supplier (or consortium) to design, produce and/or source, and distribute kits aligned with New Zealand Curriculum (NZC) to eligible schools and kura nationwide. The contract will also include support services incidental to the provision of the kits, such as order tracking and repairs. The Ministry is looking for the following kits, with the minimum requirements set out in the RFP: • Ukulele kit • Percussion Kit (tuned and untuned) • Percussion Tube kit (Boomwhacker) • Recorder Kit The successful supplier is required to design and provide kits that align with the Ministry's requirements with a value of up to $470 for each kit (including delivery). The number of kits available to each school will vary depending on the size of the roll. Any responses that do not comply with this budget requirement will not be considered.
