Music in the City – Artist Management and Contracting -Public Tendering The Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi requires the services of a qualified, experienced and reputable artist management company to support the delivery of the Music Programme across Abu Dhabi. The Music Programme includes a range of live music activations, performances and cultural programming across multiple locations, including but not limited to hotels, malls, parks, public spaces, cultural venues, hospitality venues and DCT-led event locations. DCT intends to appoint an agency to manage artists selected or approved by DCT and provide end-to-end artist management support, including artist communication, contracting, fee processing, payment coordination, licensing and permit coordination with the production company, logistics, venue attendance, on-site coordination, artist reporting, marketing support, ROCOP registration support and performance assessment reporting. The appointed agency will act as the coordination point between DCT, artists, artist representatives, venues, content teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure all artists are fully onboarded, legally compliant, contracted, paid, briefed, registered where required, and present at the correct venue according to the approved programme schedule. The contract shall operate as a capped, flexible, call-off arrangement, whereby DCT may request services as required up to the approved maximum contract value, with no obligation to utilize the full contract value and no payment due for unused, unrequested, unapproved, or undelivered services. The agency shall not confirm any artist, negotiate final fees, issue contracts, make financial commitments, approve additional artist requests, arrange logistics, incur third-party costs, or communicate contractual commitments to artists without prior written approval from DCT.
