Details
Ordregiver udbyder en totalentreprisekontrakt vedrørende projektering, opførelse og idriftsættelse af Løvbak-kernes Vandværk nord for Herning. Vandværk placeres på matrikel nr. 1r, Gullestrup, Herning Jorder. Det nye vandværk skal have en produktionskapacitet på 3 millioner m³/år, med mulighed for udvidelse til 4,5 millioner m³/år efter 2040. Hovedformålet med det nye vandværk er at sikre fremtidens produktion af drikkevand og højne Herning Vands forsyningssikkerhed. Desuden ønskes muligheden for at kunne udvide vandværket på sigt og sikre fleksibilitet i forhold til den fremtidige efterspørgsel på rent vand. Det nye vandværk ved Løvbakkerne omfatter blandt andet byggemodning, vandværksbygning, el- og maskinan-læg, håndtering af skyllevand og overfladevand, vejanlæg og udenomsarealer på vandværksgrundens matrikel. Visionen hos ordregiver er, at vandværket opføres på en måde, hvor det integreres harmonisk og naturligt i land-skabet. Samtidig ønskes placeringen tæt på forsyningens boringer og eksisterende læringsmiljøer udnyttet, så vandværkets udearealer bliver centrum for et nyt læringsrum med fokus på bæredygtig vandforvaltning, grund-vandsbeskyttelse og formidling om vand. Det nye vandværk forventes færdigt medio 2029.
