Formålet med indkøbet er at indgå rammeaftale er at sikre levering af ernæringsrigtig og velsmagende mad af høj kvalitet til visiterede hjemmeboende borgere i Herlev Kommune. Aftalen skal understøtte borgers sundhed og trivsel og bidrage til, at de kan fastholde et selvstændigt liv i eget hjem.

Opgaven er udbudt som en Rammeaftale, der tildeles to Leverandører. Borgerne vælger frit mellem de Leverandører, som Kommunen har indgået Rammeaftale med. Der anvendes ikke kaskademodel eller anden fordelingsmodel mellem Leverandørerne.

Rammeaftalen indgås i overensstemmelse med reglerne i Udbudslovens afsnit III (light-regime).
