Details

Formålet med anskaffelsen er å sikre nødstrøm til drift av pumpene som står i pumpesump på laveste punkt i de undersjøiske tunnelene i Ålesund. Ved strømutfall vil pumpene, som i dag pumper ut vann fra innsig og ved vask, stoppe opp og vannet vil fylle magasin og etter hvert også vegbanene og tunnel. Dette vil føre til stenging og fare for at tunnelen blir stående under vann ved lengre strømutfall. Ett mobilt nødstrømsaggregat vil derfor være nødvendig for å opprettholde strømforsyningen til nettbasert strøm er tilbake. Dette er ett viktig ledd i beredskapen i tunnelene.
