KS (Kommunesektorens organisasjon) lyser ut et FoU-oppdrag for å undersøke hvordan kommunene kan sikre bedre utnyttelse av ressurser på sosiale tjenester vha. ny teknologi. Oppdraget finansieres i samarbeid med Arbeids- og inkluderingsdepartementet. Bakgrunnen er behovet for å finne ut hvordan digitalisering og KI kan bidra til å optimalisere Nav-kontorenes ressursbruk på sosiale tjenester. Bruk av ny teknologi gir muligheter og innebærer nye utfordringer for de sosiale tjenestene. Prosjektet skal gi et kunnskapsgrunnlag som belyser dette for det videre arbeid på området, herunder vurdering og prioritering av tiltak både lokalt og nasjonalt.
