Gegenstand der Ausschreibung ist der Abschluss eines Rahmenvertrags über die Beschaffung von VMware Software-Subscriptions einschließlich Supportleistungen sowie Professional Services (Service Entitlements) für das Universitätsklinikum Köln und die bezugsberechtigten Gesellschaften. Die Beschaffung umfasst insbesondere VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vDefend sowie weitere VMware-Produkte und ermöglicht bedarfsgerechte Einzelabrufe während der Vertragslaufzeit von 60 Monaten.

Lots Lot 1 — VMware-Lizenzen und -Support: Gegenstand der Beschaffung ist der Abschluss eines Rahmenvertrags über die Lieferung von VMware Software-Subscriptions einschließlich der zugehörigen Supportleistungen sowie Professional Services (Service Entitlements) für das Universitätsklinikum Köln und die bezugsberechtigten Gesellschaften. Die Beschaffung umfasst insbesondere VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vDefend sowie weitere VMware-Produkte entsprechend dem Leistungsverzeichnis. Die Leistungen werden bedarfsorientiert während der Vertragslaufzeit von 60 Monaten durch Einzelabrufe abgerufen. Hierzu zählen die Überlassung der Software-Subscriptions einschließlich Wartung und Support sowie die Inanspruchnahme von Professional Services. Nachkäufe weiterer Lizenzen sind im vertraglich vorgesehenen Umfang möglich. Ziel der Beschaffung ist die Sicherstellung des wirtschaftlichen, sicheren und hochverfügbaren Betriebs der bestehenden VMware-basierten Rechenzentrumsinfrastruktur des Auftraggebers.
