Die Würzburger Straßenbahn GmbH (WSB) betreibt im eigenen Namen, auf eigene Rechnung und auf eigenes Risiko auf Grundlage eines öffentlichen Dienstleistungsauftrages gemäß Art. 3 Abs. 1 VO 1370/2007 zwischen der Stadt Würzburg und der WSB im örtlichen Zuständigkeitsbereich der Stadt Würzburg den öffentlichen Personennahverkehr mit Straßenbahnen und Omnibussen. In diesem Gesamtkontext ist die WSB aufgefordert, folgende Linienerweiterung (Gesamtmaßnahme) baulich umzusetzen: Das bestehende meterspurige Straßenbahnliniennetz in Würzburg wird durch die WSB mit der geplanten Baumaßnahme Straßenbahn-Neubaustrecke „Neues Uniklinikum Würzburg“ erweitert. Hierdurch wird das Nordgelände und die geplante Erweiterung des Universitätsklinikums Würzburg (Kopfklinikum, Frauenklinik, Zentrum Operative Fächer ZOM, Zentrum für Innere Medizin ZIM) (UKW) von der Straßenbahn erschlossen und an die Innenstadt von Würzburg angebunden. Für die Durchführung der Gesamtmaßnahme Straßenbahn-Neubaustrecke „Neues Uniklinikum Würzburg“ sind diverse Leistungen für die geotechnische Baubegleitung zu erbringen. Hierzu zählen u.a.: - Probenahmen; - Untersuchungen; sowie - Einbau/Verdichtungskontrolle.
