Die Bundesregierung hat die KfW als Durchführungsorganisation für die finanzielle Entwicklungszusammenarbeit (FZ) mit der Mitwirkung auf deutscher Seite bei der Auswahl und Vorbereitung der Entwicklungsmaßnahmen, der Prüfung, der Durchführung der Förderung und der Berichterstattung sowie der Evaluierung beauftragt. Auftragsgegenstand ist die Erbringung von Wirtschaftsprüferleistungen über die ordnungsgemäße Verwaltung und Verwendung von Haushaltsmitteln bei der Durchführung der Entwicklungspolitischen Zusammenarbeit (EZ) im Auftrag der verschiedenen Bundesressorts und der EU für die Geschäftsjahre 2027 bis einschließlich 2032. Das Geschäftsjahr läuft jeweils vom 1. Januar bis 31. Dezember.
