GEOTECHNICAL DRILLING AND SAMPLING, IN-SITU TESTING, AND GEOPHYSICAL INVESTIGATION AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS, REPUBLIC OF KOREA (ROK)The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Far East District (FED) intends to procure Geotechnical Drilling Services at various military bases in the Republic of Korea as a firm-fixed price Single Award Task Order (SATOC), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with estimated contract total capacity of $3 million. The total contract period of performance includes a one-year base period plus four (4) one-year options to extend the term of the contract. The total duration of the contract is sixty months if all options are exercised. The SATOC awardee is required to determine the type, character, thickness, stratification of subsurface soil and rock materials, static groundwater conditions, and geotechnical engineering properties of subsurface materials at the various drilling, testing, and investigation sites. Under the contract to be awarded, the contractor will provide all resources necessary for drilling services specified in each Task Order.
