UNCDF’s Pacific Finance for Growth Programme (PFGP) aims to advance inclusive finance in the Pacific by leveraging digital financial infrastructure, remittances and social protection payments to expand access to finance for MSMEs and underserved populations.

As part of this initiative, UNCDF is supporting the Government of Kiribati, through MWYSSA, to digitize Government-to-Person (G2P) social protection payments through bank accounts. UNCDF is seeking a qualified firm to develop a costed and scalable national implementation plan and pilot the onboarding of eligible beneficiaries to bank accounts. The pilot will test the end-to-end onboarding and payment process and inform the roadmap and costing for nationwide scale-up.
