La station de Métabief Montagnes du Jura, située dans le département du Doubs, exploite un domaine skiable en hiver et un bike park de mai à octobre. Celui-ci est constitué de 25 km de pistes VTT de descente pour tous les niveaux Le Syndicat Mixte du Mont d'Or (SMMO), gestionnaire de la station, souhaite désormais connecter son réseau VTT à la Suisse jusqu'à la gare ferroviaire de Vallorbe, avec en particulier des parcours enduro. La volonté affichée est de proposer des itinéraires adaptés à tous les niveaux, correspondant aux attentes de la clientèle et offrant un niveau de qualité optimal. Cependant la création et l'entretien de ces parcours exige non seulement une main d'oeuvre qualifiée, mais aussi des engins adaptés. Afin d'assurer un entretien efficace et régulier de ces parcours VTT transfrontaliers, le SMMO souhaite faire l'acquisition d'un porte-outil télécommandé équipé de matériel adapté pour régénérer l'état de surface des parcours VTT. Cette action s'inscrit dans le projet Passerelles, retenu dans le cadre du programme INTERREG Franco-Suisse 2021-2027, financé par l'Union européenne.
