Hankinnan kohteena on haavoittuvuushallinnan palvelu, joka sisältää pilvipalveluna (SaaS) toimitettavan haavoittuvuushallinnan järjestelmän valmisratkaisuna sekä siihen liittyvät tuki-, ylläpito- ja asiantuntijapalvelut. Tämän lisäksi hankinta sisältää optionaalisina lisäosina palveluna tuotettavan haavoittuvuushallinnan operoinnin sekä tekniset CTEM-kyvykkyydet. Hankintaan sisältyy PoC-vaihe, käyttöönottovaihe ja tuotantovaihe. Hankinta on kuvattu tarkemmin tarjouspyynnön liitteellä "Hankinnan kohteen kuvaus". Verohallinto tulee valitsemaan kilpailutuksen perusteella yhden palveluntuottajan ja yhden varatoimittajan.
