Engaging a Company to provide digital totems for UNECA HQ, Africa Hall Visitor Center, Addis Ababa.

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) intends to procure digital totems to enhance communication and visitor engagement at the Africa Hall Visitor Center. This initiative aims to provide visitors with clear, accessible, and timely information through freestanding digital displays. The totems will serve as communication platforms for advertising information,interactive directories, and multimedia content for exhibition, content display at Africa Hall Visitor Center for an informative and engaging visitor experience. UNECA would like to use the standing digital totems to display multimedia content, including text, images, and videos, with interactive functionality where specified in the technical requirements. The solution should enable authorized UNECA personnel to manage, update, and schedule content centrally. The equipment and associated software should be suitable for the intended installation locations and support user-friendly, accessible, and multilingual communication.

Scope of Work

The selected supplier will be responsible for the supply, delivery, installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of the digital totems and associated content management solution.

• Content Types: Capable of running high-resolution images, promotional videos,

live data feeds, interactive wayfinding maps, and digital catalogs.

• Design Options: Built with a slim metal body, tempered safety glass, and

optional caster wheels for mobility, available in single-sided or double-sided panels.

In addition to the information contained in this REOI, interested vendors should ensure the following minimum requirements are met:

1) Companies should be registered in UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) or should start their registration process immediately if not registered using the link https://www.ungm.org.

2) In order to participate, vendors are advised to be registered at the basic level in the UNGM

3) Vendors must be registered in UNGM under the UNSPSC code 43211514;20101600:43211900, in order to participate in the solicitation for this requirement.

5. Women-owned businesses and businesses owned by persons with disabilities are encouraged to participate.
