eLearning Proposal Writer (Remote)

We are hiring an eLearning Proposal Writer to lead the development of complete, targeted, and compelling responses to RFPs for digital learning solutions, articulating Altamont Group's value and winning new business across our learning and development service lines. Description Altamont Group is hiring an eLearning Proposal Writer to respond to complex RFPs spanning custom eLearning development, instructional design, learning management systems, mobile and blended learning, multimedia production, and learning analytics, working with clients across government, enterprise, education, and non-profit/NGO sectors. - The eLearning Proposal Writer will create complete and compelling responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) that communicate Altamont Group's learning expertise, solution approach, and value with the aim of winning new business - The ideal candidate has a strong learning and development background with a solid understanding of instructional design, custom eLearning production, LMS platforms, and digital learning standards, along with three or more years of experience responding to RFPs from government, enterprise, education, and non-profit organizations, coupled with strong writing skills - We need an energetic, motivated, and persistent person who can write winning proposals Responsibilities - Read incoming RFPs/TORs and develop the proposal development plan - Develop bid development strategy and proposal project planning - Complete the research and discovery needed to develop instructional, technical, implementation, and cost proposal documents - Ensure content matches the RFP/TOR and includes approved proposal language according to company policy - Ensure responses follow corporate brand style and tone guidelines - Review and customize RFP responses - Serve as a liaison between learning solution teams and proposal content, clearly articulating instructional approaches, learner journeys, content formats, platform requirements, accessibility considerations, and implementation plans - Verify that responses address key client priorities, evaluation criteria, learner needs, measurable outcomes, and win themes - Write all required and additional RFP response documents and attachments, including cover letters, executive summaries, needs-analysis narratives, instructional design approaches, development methodologies, implementation plans, quality-assurance plans, and project schedules - Incorporate feedback from proposal review sessions - Assist with proposal knowledge management and retention of content for future use - Provide the proposal submission package, including accompanying documents and cover email - Develop pitch and clarification-meeting materials, including presentations, solution overviews, learning journey summaries, briefing notes, demonstrations, and speaking points - Support in other areas as requested

- Our unique value proposition is clear and evident in every part of the proposal - Our cover letter and executive summary clearly address what the client is looking for - Thoroughly yet concisely respond to all areas of the proposal - By the end of the proposal, the reader is left with no questions as to why they should choose Altamont Group - A complete, client-ready, proofread, and edited proposal is provided Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University; Master's preferred - Learning and development background and experience across eLearning service areas, particularly in: - Instructional design; custom eLearning and microlearning; virtual instructor-led and blended learning; learning management systems; storyboarding and multimedia production; assessments and learning evaluation; accessibility; and standards such as SCORM, xAPI, and LTI - Expertise in developing evidence-based, well-researched learning solution methodologies in response to RFPs, including needs analysis, learner and audience analysis, instructional strategy, content development, implementation, quality assurance, and evaluation - Three or more years of experience responding to eLearning, training, education technology, or learning management system RFPs - Excellent writing, organizational, communication, and planning skills - Previous experience writing successful bids/proposals - Demonstrated history of winning bids - Enhanced research and data analysis skills - Able to articulate the linkage between client needs, learner profiles, instructional strategies, technology choices, deliverables, implementation plans, and measurable learning or performance outcomes - Strong attention to detail - Proven track record of timely and high-quality completion of assignments - Ability to manage deadlines efficiently - Strong critical thinking ability - Ability to work independently - Highly organized with strong time management skills, and an ability to learn quickly and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines - Flexible attitude toward receiving feedback - Proficient with MS Office and SharePoint; familiarity with common eLearning authoring tools, LMS platforms, and proposal collaboration systems is preferred How to apply How to apply Additional Information This is a REMOTE role
