Details

The value of the framework on the notice is £48 million (excluding VAT) including extensions. This is a nil value commitment framework, with the anticipated total spend on the framework across all 4 framework holders likely to be between £6 and £7 million per year. Please note that the orders under the framework are low value/ maintenance work with an average order value of less than £25k historically. The work is delivered under Network Rail’s PCL License and the work covers Permanent Way activities and associated tasks aimed at maintaining, renewing, and improving track infrastructure. This includes re-railing (jointed and CWR), rail stressing, component replacement, and construction of insulated block joints. The framework will also cover re-sleepering, re-ballasting, switches and crossings renewals, track geometry repairs through lifting and packing, track drainage refurbishment, installation of way beams and cable troughing. The works delivered under this framework are for the East Coast, East Midlands, and North & East Routes.
