Der udbydes en kontrakt på køb af 2 amfibiske RHIB fartøjer til Kystredningstjenesten inklusive trailer og reservedelspakke. Fartøjerne skal bruges til redningsoperationer (Search And Rescue, (SAR)) i lavvandede områder, fjorde og kystnært i Nordsøen, Kattegat og Østersøen og skal kunne sættes via. stranden, hvor den selvstændigt skal være i stand til at kunne køre fra trailer og ud i vandet. Fartøjet inkl. motorer, brændstof og fast monteret udstyr samt trailer skal ikke overstige 3500 kg samlet (køreklar vægt), da fartøj og trailer skal som samlet enhed kunne håndteres af et køretøj med en maks. tilladt påhængsvægt med bremser på 3500kg og synsfri sammenkobling. Fartøjet skal bygges til en forventet levetid på mindst 15 år.
