The works cover 30 stormwater lines and 14 wastewater lines, ranging from 80mm to 450mm in diameter, in earthenware, PVC, concrete, asbestos cement and relined pipe. The works include: - removal of the illegal connection by redirecting the caretaker's shed toilet and basin (WWHOL14_JCT6) from the stormwater system to the closest wastewater asset via a pumped connection (design, supply, installation, power supply and commissioning) - full and part pipeline replacements - pipe relining and spot repairs - root cutting, heavy cleaning and debris removal - exposing and raising buried manholes, and repairing manhole channels and benching - replacing missing inspection caps - exposing JCT3, installing a new mini chamber and completing CCTV of the line downstream to WWMH8 - post-works CCTV of every line worked on - reinstating all disturbed surfaces (asphalt, concrete, paving, grass and gardens) to match existing - handing over final as-built drawings, drainlayer records of work, commissioning records and warranties The Contractor is responsible for the design of the pumped connection, the SWMH21_SWMH22 re-route and any works arising from the Provisional Sums. This includes obtaining any building consent, producer statements and Code Compliance Certificate needed. Provisional Sums cover pipelines without a full condition assessment and further works found by re-CCTV inspection. They are to be spent only on the Engineer's instruction. The works are on an occupied, operating school site and will be delivered as a single stage, with one handover at Practical Completion.
