Details

Bundaberg Regional Council is inviting offers from qualified service providers to undertake regular inspection and maintenance of Council’s compressed air equipment. Council intends to outsource maintenance and inspection of compressed air equipment across all Bundaberg water and wastewater treatment sites.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

Council provides Water and Wastewater Services for approximately 35 000 connections within the Bundaberg Region. Water is processed from various sources to produce healthy, safe water as governed by the Drinking Water Quality Management Plan and the regulator.

The operation of water and wastewater treatment plants rely on equipment that produces and utilises compressed air. To ensure reliable plant operation and compliance to regulations, the compressed air equipment must be routinely maintained by competent maintenance personnel.

Desired Outcomes ('Nice to haves', Conditions & Warranties, SLA's, Project benefits): The contract period will be for 2 years, with the option to extend by a further 2 years. The maximum contract duration would be 4 years.
