ZMINA:Resilience offers grants of up to €50,000 to arts and cultural organisations in Ukraine and other Creative Europe countries to internationally showcase co-created artistic and cultural projects. About ZMINA:Resilience

ZMINA:Resilience is an international cultural cooperation initiative led by the IZOLYATSIA Foundation in partnership with Malý Berlín and Trans Europe Halles. The project aims to strengthen cross-border collaboration between Ukrainian and other Creative Europe organisations by supporting the international presentation of jointly created artistic and cultural works. The programme focuses on bringing co-created projects to new audiences while encouraging visibility, community engagement, adaptation to new contexts, and long-term sustainability. What Does the Grant Support? The funding supports activities required to prepare and deliver public presentation events for co-created artistic and cultural projects.

Supported activities may include:

- Project preparation - Artistic and cultural production - Travel - Accommodation - Artists’ working time - Communication and promotion - Presentation and event delivery - Other eligible activities necessary for the project The initiative encourages applicants to adapt existing works to new cultural contexts and involve local communities, artists, and experts. How Much Funding Is Available? Successful projects can receive grants of up to €50,000.

The funding conditions include:

- Maximum grant: €50,000

- Maximum funding rate: 90% of total project costs

- Applicant contribution: 10% of total project costs in monetary form

- Overall strand budget: €950,000

- Expected number of grants: 19–25

Applicants should ensure that their budgets accurately reflect eligible costs and include the required 10% monetary contribution. Who Can Apply? Eligible applicants are arts and culture organisations registered in Creative Europe countries. Projects must be implemented through a partnership that includes: - At least one Ukrainian arts or cultural organisation - At least one organisation from another Creative Europe country Ukrainian partner organisations must be registered in territories under the effective control of the Ukrainian government. The proposal must be submitted by one lead applicant on behalf of the partnership. All partners are expected to have an equally important role in the project. What Types of Creative Projects Are Eligible? The call is open to projects across artistic and cultural sectors. All creative and cultural sectors are eligible except audiovisual activities. The proposed work must be co-created by organisations from Ukraine and another Creative Europe country and be suitable for presentation to audiences in new locations. Public Presentation Requirements Projects must include at least six public presentation events. The events must meet the following geographic requirements: - At least six public presentation events in total - At least three events in each of at least two countries - One of the participating countries must be Ukraine - Events cannot take place in the home city or town of any applicant organisation This requirement is intended to ensure that supported projects reach audiences beyond the organisations’ immediate local environments. Project Duration Each funded project can be implemented for a maximum of seven months. The implementation period begins after the grant agreement has been signed. Applicants should therefore develop a realistic schedule covering preparation, travel, production, communication, public presentations, and project completion. What Makes a Project Suitable for the Call?

ZMINA: Resilience encourages projects that can reach new audiences and create meaningful international cultural connections.

Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate:

Selection rounds take place approximately every three to four months during a 16-month period. The assessment process includes several stages: - Applications are checked for technical eligibility. - Eligible proposals are evaluated by independent experts. - Proposals are reviewed against the programme’s selection criteria. - A selection committee makes the final funding decisions. - The selection process considers diversity and cost-effectiveness.
