The Board of Directors provides governance oversight, policy direction, financial stewardship, and strategic guidance to ensure the organization delivers on its mission. BOARD VACANCIES Amref Health Africa in Zambia is inviting applications from qualified professionals to serve as Members of the Board of Directors. We seek three (3) individuals with the following specialized skills and experience: Board Skills/Experience Area Enhanced Skills and Requirements Description Public Health /programme Management Strategic leadership and oversight of public health programmes, preferably within NGOs in Zambia; ability to guide program design, implementation, and evaluation for improved health outcomes. Legal Expertise in legal and regulatory compliance; ability to advise on corporate governance, statutory obligations, and risk management; experience with NGO-related legal frameworks. Applicants must have prior experience serving on a Board (commercial or nonprofit) and a solid understanding of legal and fiduciary responsibilities.All positions are voluntary and non-remunerated. YOUTH ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITY Amref Health Africa in Zambia also seeks three (3) young professionals (aged 24–30 years) to serve as Resource Persons on Board Committees: • Projects & Resource Mobilisation • Finance, Governance & Administration • Audit, Risk & Compliance Candidates should possess skills aligned with the focus areas of these committees.
