About the Green Education Projects Call

The call highlights innovative green education projects that have already been implemented in formal or informal learning environments. It is intended to identify initiatives that demonstrate how education can help learners and communities respond to climate change, environmental challenges and the transition towards more sustainable societies.

Projects may involve:

Each theme addresses a different way in which education can contribute to environmental sustainability and climate action.

Theme 1: Youth Leadership and Intergenerational Dialogue for Climate Action

This theme focuses on giving young people an active role in climate and sustainability initiatives. Projects should demonstrate meaningful youth participation and learner agency rather than treating young people only as recipients of information.
