The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is inviting partner organisations to support logistics operations and warehouse management in Kémo-Gribingui, Central African Republic (CAR). The opportunity covers emergency logistics, fleet and generator maintenance, warehouse and inventory management, fuel storage and distribution, procurement support, and the safe transportation of people and goods needed to maintain humanitarian protection and assistance operations. UNHCR Logistics and Warehouse Management Opportunity The UNHCR partnership opportunity is designed to maintain the operational capacity required to deliver protection and assistance to forcibly displaced and stateless people in Kémo-Gribingui. The selected partner will support essential logistical functions, including vehicle fleet management, warehouse operations, fuel management, transportation, equipment maintenance and related operational services. The activities are intended to ensure that humanitarian teams have reliable access to the vehicles, equipment, supplies, fuel and logistical infrastructure needed to operate safely and efficiently. Key Focus Areas The opportunity covers several interconnected logistics and operational areas: The programme will be implemented in Kémo-Gribingui, Central African Republic. The partner organisation must have sufficient local knowledge, operational capacity, personnel and resources to implement activities safely in the project area. What Will the Selected Partner Do? The selected organisation will provide practical logistics support to help UNHCR maintain continuous humanitarian operations. Vehicle Fleet and Generator Maintenance The partner will help maintain operational vehicles and generators used for humanitarian activities. Reliable fleet and generator capacity is important because humanitarian personnel often operate in locations where transportation and electricity infrastructure may be limited. Warehouse and Inventory Management Warehouse management will be another major component of the partnership. The partner will be expected to support: Safe storage of supplies and non-food items Inventory management Stock monitoring Appropriate handling of humanitarian goods Organisation and documentation of warehouse movements Distribution of supplies when required Reduction of losses and operational risks Effective inventory management helps ensure that humanitarian supplies remain available, traceable and properly managed. Fuel Management Fuel is a critical operational resource for humanitarian field activities. The partner will support the safe management of fuel, including: Fuel storage Fuel distribution Maintenance of fuel distribution stations Safe handling procedures Monitoring of fuel use Operational controls to reduce losses and misuse Transportation and Logistics Coordination The programme also requires safe and timely transportation of people and goods.

Community accountability Safe and inclusive programme delivery Environmental sustainability Data and information protection where relevant Logistics activities should therefore support humanitarian operations without creating additional protection or environmental risks. Who Is Eligible? The opportunity is intended for partner organisations with the expertise and operational capacity necessary to provide logistics and warehouse-management services in Kémo-Gribingui. Organisations should also demonstrate their ability to work with forcibly displaced and stateless populations and integrate protection considerations into their operations. International and Consortium Organisations International organisations are encouraged to collaborate with local organisations. Consortium applications must clearly explain: The role and responsibilities of the lead organisation Responsibilities of consortium members How activities will be coordinated Capacity-strengthening arrangements How responsibilities will progressively be transferred A two- to three-year capacity-strengthening and activity-transfer plan is required for consortium arrangements. This approach is intended to strengthen local organisational capacity and promote the progressive localisation of humanitarian operations.
