The Chevening Scholarship Uganda enables exceptional professionals to pursue a fully funded, one-year taught master’s degree at an eligible UK university. Chevening supports:

- A one-year taught master’s degree. - Full-time study. - Study at an eligible UK university. Applicants should verify that all three selected courses meet Chevening’s requirements relating to academic level, duration, location, and study format. Financial Support Selected scholars receive full financial support that includes: - Eligible tuition fees. - A monthly living allowance. - Travel to the United Kingdom. - Return travel to Uganda. - Additional approved allowances for essential expenses. The exact value of the funding package may depend on the course, university location, travel arrangements, and official scholarship conditions. Tuition Fees Chevening covers eligible tuition fees for the approved master’s course.

Applicants should ensure that:

- The program is Chevening-eligible. - It is offered by a recognized UK university. - It is a full-time taught master’s degree. - It meets the required duration. - It begins within the applicable academic year. - Any course-specific fee restrictions are reviewed. Applicants must independently meet the admission requirements of their chosen universities. Monthly Living Allowance Scholars receive a monthly stipend to help cover essential living costs in the United Kingdom.

The allowance may support:

- Accommodation. - Food. - Local transportation. - Study-related living expenses. - Other essential personal costs. The stipend amount may vary depending on whether the scholar studies inside or outside London. International Travel Chevening provides eligible travel support: - From Uganda to the United Kingdom at the start of the scholarship. - From the United Kingdom to Uganda after the course ends. Scholars must follow the official travel-booking and approval process. Applicants should not purchase tickets independently unless instructed to do so. Additional Allowances Selected scholars may receive additional allowances for approved essential costs. Applicants must:

- Be citizens of Uganda. - Hold an undergraduate degree. - Have at least two years of eligible work experience. - Apply to three different eligible UK master’s courses. - Secure an unconditional offer from at least one course by the specified deadline. - Demonstrate leadership potential. - Show strong networking abilities. - Present a clear career plan. - Commit to returning to Uganda. - Remain in Uganda for at least two years after completing the scholarship. - Meet all additional official Chevening requirements.
