SRD Center is seeking qualified Business Development / Business Planning / Pitching Practitioner / Trainer to join a short-term consultancy assignment supporting agricultural micro and small enterprises, rural entrepreneurs, community-based organizations, and local communities in Jordan. The assignment aims to strengthen beneficiaries' capacities to establish, manage, expand and sustain viable agricultural and agri-business enterprises through practical business development support, training, coaching and follow-up. Tasks The Business Development Practitioner/Trainer will support beneficiaries to develop viable business models, improve business management practices and prepare practical business plans and business pitches.

Key responsibilities include:

- Design and facilitate business development training sessions. - Conduct or contribute to business needs and skills-gap assessments.

- Train beneficiaries on:

- business model development; - entrepreneurship; - financial planning and budgeting; - costing and pricing; - record keeping; - risk management; - basic business sustainability. - Support beneficiaries to prepare and/or refine practical and bankable business plans. - Support the preparation of realistic financial projections. - Assist beneficiaries in identifying business risks and appropriate mitigation measures. - Support enterprises to identify appropriate markets, customers and value propositions. - Develop practical business planning tools and templates. - Design and deliver business pitching preparation workshops.

- Coach beneficiaries on:

- presentation techniques; - value proposition development; - communication; - business storytelling; and - responding to questions from selection or investment panels. - Prepare beneficiaries for business pitching events. - Support the organization and facilitation of pitching sessions/events. - Coordinate closely with packaging/marketing and mentoring specialists. - Conduct individual business advisory sessions where required. - Contribute to pre/post training evaluations and acquired-skills assessments. - Participate in field monitoring and follow-up. - Contribute to progress reports and the final assignment report. These responsibilities directly reflect the ToR's areas covering business development training, business plan development and business pitching support. Qualifications - Advanced university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Business Development, Agribusiness, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Rural Development, Finance or a related field. - Demonstrated professional experience in business development services for SMEs, micro-enterprises or start-ups. - Strong experience in business plan and/or business model development. - Demonstrated experience supporting entrepreneurs with financial planning, costing and pricing. - Experience facilitating entrepreneurship or business-management training. - Demonstrated experience in business pitching preparation and facilitation.

- Experience providing support to:

- agricultural SMEs; - rural entrepreneurs; - smallholder farmers; - community-based organizations; and/or - cooperatives is highly desirable. - Experience working with grant-supported start-ups or income-generating activities is an advantage. - Strong facilitation, coaching and presentation skills. - Strong analytical and report-writing skills. - Ability to translate business concepts into simple, practical tools suitable for small and emerging businesses. - Ability and willingness to travel to Balqa, Ajloun and Jerash. - Fluency in Arabic is required for beneficiary-facing activities. - Good command of English is desirable.
