Boffa Miskell, in conjunction with Marlborough District Council, is providing advance notice of an upcoming procurement opportunity for helicopter operators to support wilding conifer control works within the Branch / Leatham and Waihopai management units. The opportunity will be undertaken through a two-stage procurement process. The first stage will invite helicopter operators who have an operating base in the Nelson/Tasman or Marlborough regions to apply for appointment to the Boffa Miskell Biosecurity Supplier Panel. Operators successfully appointed to the Panel will then be invited to participate in a closed competitive tender for the Branch / Leatham and Waihopai wilding conifer control works for a one-year period. The first-stage Supplier Panel opportunity is expected to open on 6 November 2026 and close on 19 November 2026. Appointment of successful Panel suppliers is anticipated from the week commencing 30 November 2026. The closed competitive tender for the Branch / Leatham and Waihopai control works will be open to all approved Boffa Miskell aerial suppliers and is proposed to run from 30 November to 10 December 2026. Before you bid on this tender

A quick checklist to help you decide whether to bid and prepare a compliant submission for this forestry & wildlife opportunity. Always verify the details on the official source.

  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
