Details
Hulpverleningszone Taxandria wenst over te gaan tot de aankoop van een bosbrandweervoertuig. De bosbrandweerwagen 4.000 liter 4x4 zal voornamelijk ingezet worden om bluswerkzaamheden te verrichten bij natuurbrandbestrijding in moeilijk terrein. Inzet bij beperkte technische interventies is eveneens mogelijk (stormschade, …). Dit voertuig is tevens uitgerust om de bemanning veilig deze werkzaamheden te kunnen laten uitvoeren, enerzijds doordat het voertuig zich ‘duidelijk’ gesignaleerd op de openbare weg kan begeven, anderzijds door de cabine te beschouwen als een ‘veilige plaats’ bij een overtrekkend vuurfront.
