Strategische adviesverlening behelst de volledige cyclus van ontwikkeling, realisatie en evaluatie van een strategie, alsook het betrekken en activeren van belanghebbenden tijdens deze cyclus. De strategie kan o.a. kaderen in de beleidscyclus, de organisatieontwikkeling van de organisatie en het onderzoeken of creëren van nieuwe beleidsruimte. Het uitgangspunt is steeds het verhogen van publieke meerwaarde. Strategie geeft richting aan de groei in effectiviteit, efficiëntie en wendbaarheid van overheidsorganisaties. Als overheidsorganisatie werken we zo aan transparantie, verantwoordelijk bestuur en een performante overheid die ambitieus inzet op een warm en welvarend Vlaanderen.
