The Visual and Sound Artist Residency Program supports artists from the Visegrad Group (V4) countries—Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia—to undertake two-month artistic residencies in another V4 country. Each selected residency project receives €6,000 in total support, divided equally between the resident artist and the host organization, providing artists with an opportunity to develop creative work, build international connections, and participate in cross-border cultural exchange within the V4 region. The Visual and Sound Artist Residency Program was established to strengthen artistic collaboration and cultural exchange among the four Visegrad Group countries: The program enables artists to temporarily work in another V4 country, creating opportunities for cross-border cooperation and new professional and creative relationships.
