Funding Categories RADF provides support through three funding categories.

Participate

Grants of up to $1,000 are available for projects that encourage participation in arts, culture, and heritage activities. This category is particularly suitable for smaller-scale initiatives that provide opportunities for community members to engage with creative or cultural activities. Develop Grants of up to $3,000 are available to support professional and creative development. This category can assist artists, practitioners, and cultural workers to develop their skills, practices, knowledge, or professional capacity. Share Grants of up to $10,000 are available for larger projects that share arts, cultural, or heritage activity with the community. Projects may focus on creating, presenting, or delivering cultural experiences that generate broader community participation and impact. Who Is Eligible? RADF is open to a range of individuals and organisations connected to the Fraser Coast region. Applicants must generally be based within the Fraser Coast Regional Council area or demonstrate a direct and meaningful benefit to the Fraser Coast community. Individuals must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. Applicants are also expected to meet standard administrative and risk-management requirements, such as holding an ABN and appropriate public liability insurance, or applying through an eligible auspice arrangement where permitted. What Makes a Strong RADF Project? A competitive project should demonstrate a clear connection between the proposed activity and the development of arts, culture, or heritage in Fraser Coast.

Strong proposals should explain:

Step 2: Confirm Your Eligibility

Check that you meet the applicant requirements, including the relevant connection to Fraser Coast and Australian citizenship or permanent residency requirements for individuals. If you cannot meet requirements such as ABN or insurance independently, determine whether an eligible auspice organisation can support the application.

Step 3: Define the Project
