The Presentation and Participation Grant Program supports Singapore-based arts practitioners, organisations, groups, and eligible publishers to produce and present artistic projects that expand arts participation and appreciation. Funding can support performing, visual, literary, and multidisciplinary projects delivered physically, digitally, or through hybrid formats, with grants of up to S$100,000 per financial year for eligible applicants. What Is the Presentation and Participation Grant Program? The Presentation and Participation Grant Program supports the development, production, presentation, and public engagement activities of Singapore’s arts sector. The program is intended to help artists and arts organisations create and present diverse artistic work while increasing public access to and participation in the arts. The proposed activity should have a clear artistic component and be intended for public consumption or engagement. How Much Funding Is Available? Funding depends on the type of applicant and project. Individuals and Non-Profit Organisations Eligible individuals and non-profit organisations can receive up to 70% of a realistic project budget, subject to a maximum grant of S$100,000 per financial year. For-Profit Organisations and Publishing Projects For-profit organisations and eligible publishing projects can generally receive up to 50% of a realistic budget. The maximum award is not automatically granted. The program is open to several categories of applicants connected to Singapore’s arts sector. Priority is given to self-employed persons working in the local arts scene. Registered Organisations Eligible organisations can include entities registered with: Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) Registry of Societies Informal Groups and Collectives Informal groups or artistic collectives can apply where the majority of members are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
