Details

The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) invites suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) for the provision of Emergency Services Response Team (ERT) Services at its Lucas Heights campus in New South Wales. ANSTO is seeking a supplier capable of providing an integrated emergency response capability supporting ANSTO's emergency preparedness and response arrangements. The Emergency Services Response Team (ERT) performs a critical role in supporting the safety and resilience of ANSTO's operations and is responsible for emergency medical response, fire response, hazardous materials response, emergency preparedness activities and incident support services. The successful supplier will be expected to demonstrate strong operational capability, workforce flexibility, emergency response expertise, effective training and competency management arrangements and a commitment to continuous improvement while supporting ANSTO's core values of safety, security and sustainability. Given the nature of ANSTO's operations and the sensitivity of information relevant to this procurement, access to detailed Request for Tender (RFT) documentation will be restricted. The purpose of this ROI is to:

  • Identify suppliers with the capability, capacity and relevant experience to perform the Services;
  • Confirm suppliers satisfy the minimum participation requirements;
  • Establish suppliers willing to comply with ANSTO's confidentiality and probity requirements; and
  • Determine which suppliers will be invited to participate in the subsequent RFT process.

As part of the ROI process, suppliers will be required to:

  • Complete and submit the ROI Response Schedules;
  • Execute ANSTO's Confidentiality Deed;
  • Demonstrate compliance with the minimum participation requirements specified in the ATM documentation.

Following evaluation of ROI submissions, ANSTO intends to shortlist suppliers that satisfy the ROI requirements and invite those suppliers to participate in Stage Two, being the Request for Tender.

Conditions for Participation

  • Be a legal entity capable of entering into the Contract.
  • Be capable of complying with the insurance requirements of the proposed Contract before contract award.
  • The Supplier must execute the confidentiality agreement (Offer Schedule 3).

Other Instructions:

An online industry briefing was conducted prior to the release of this ROI to provide an overview of the opportunity, procurement process and ROI requirements. Attendance at the industry briefing was voluntary and is not a prerequisite for participation in the ROI process.

Before you bid on this tender

A quick checklist to help you decide whether to bid and prepare a compliant submission for this financial & professional services opportunity. Always verify the details on the official source.

  • Confirm the exact closing date and time (and time zone) on the official portal — deadlines are strict and can be revised by a corrigendum.
  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
  • Prepare any earnest-money deposit (EMD) or bid security and the required formats early; missing or wrongly-formatted documents are a common cause of rejection.
  • Note how bids must be submitted (online or physical), in what format, and whether a digital signature or portal registration is required.
  • Watch for corrigenda and clarifications right up to the deadline — requirements and dates can change.
