Formålet med denne anskaffelsesprosessen er å inngå kontrakt med en leverandør om drift og vedlikehold av Forsvarets ugraderte internettløsninger.Dagens avtale omfatter seks løsninger som alle nås av brukerne via internett. Fem av løsningene kjører på virtuelle servere i et datasenter hos dagens driftsleverandør. Serverne kjører enten Windows eller Linux operativsystem. Maskinene kan grovt deles inn i web-servere, applikasjons-servere, database-servere, samt servere for fellestjenester, som for eksempel Active Directory. Det er for tiden 27 servere totalt fordelt på to kjøremiljøer, produksjon og test. Den siste løsningen som inngår i denne avtalen driftes i Microsoft Azure. Forvaltningen av denne skyløsningen må kunne videreføres av ny driftsleverandør.Det vises til anskaffelsesdokumentene for en nærmere beskrivelse av anskaffelsen.
