Details

Sutherland Shire Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Lead Design Consultants to submit a Tender for the development of integrated Master Plans for four (4) key operational sites. The Master Plans will provide a coordinated, long-term strategic framework to guide the future use, development and management of Council's multidisciplinary operational facilities, ensuring they continue to meet current and future service delivery, workforce and community needs.

This project encompasses Council's operational depots at Bath Road and Ethel Road, the Animal Shelter at Taren Point, and the Community Recycling Facility at Kurnell. The Master Plans will assess three (3) design options representing different scales of development: optimisation of existing facilities, redevelopment and consolidation of operations, and strategic transformation incorporating alternative sites or relocation opportunities.

This Request for Tender (RFT) outlines the scope of services required from the Lead Design Consultant and the requirements for submitting a Tender. The Contract will be awarded to the Respondent that best demonstrates the capability, relevant experience and a comprehensive understanding of the project objectives. The successful Respondent will work collaboratively with Council and key stakeholders throughout the planning and design process to deliver practical, innovative and future-focused Master Plans that align with Council's strategic objectives and provide long-term value to the organisation and the community.

Before you bid on this tender

A quick checklist to help you decide whether to bid and prepare a compliant submission for this water & environment opportunity. Always verify the details on the official source.

  • Confirm the exact closing date and time (and time zone) on the official portal — deadlines are strict and can be revised by a corrigendum.
  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
